Dear Fellow CattleWomen,
As President of Wyoming CattleWomen, it is
my pleasure to
invite you to Sheridan,
WY for the April 28
-30, 2011 Region V
meeting of the American National CattleWomen. Enclosed
are a few registration brochures with a schedule
of the planned
events. I’m hoping to have the brochure distributed via e-mail
attachment
soon. Perhaps you will have already
received it before this arrives in the mail. Either
way, please feel free to forward, copy and
distribute as necessary. The more the
merrier!
Headquarters for the meeting will be the
Sheridan Best
Western, with a block of rooms reserved for “CattleWomen.”
A special room rate applies until March 28, 2011. Make room
reservations by calling 307-674-7421. We would also appreciate
receiving
registration forms and fees by that date.
We have tried to include activities that are
both fun and
informative while giving you an opportunity to visit one of the truly
beautiful
areas of Wyoming.
One never knows, however, what the weather will be like in late April. It could be sunny and beautiful one day and
snowing and blowing the next, so you’ll want to be sure to pack a warm
jacket.
The Sheridan County CattleWomen are planning
a fun tour of
the town by trolley Thursday evening prior to the welcome reception. There are many historical and interesting
landmarks in the town and we want you to feel at home in the “#1
western town
in the US.” Friday will be a full day featuring several
speakers, a visit from ANCW President-Elect Tammi Didlot, State and
ANCW
committee sharing. The day will end with
a tour of the legendary King’s Ropes and Museum followed by a delicious
beef
dinner and a fashion show presented by Living Historians at the
historic
Sheridan Inn. Saturday morning, we will hear more about ANCW programs,
committees and hold elections for committee representatives. The business should be completed by early
afternoon and you can spend some time on your own taking in the town or
start
your journey home.
We welcome any and all CattleWomen and look
forward to
forming new friendships while sharing our common interests of promoting
and
supporting the beef industry. Hope to
see you there!
Sincerely,
Ladonna
Good, President
Wyoming
